time to pack up for now...

I've had a super great time being an extended guest designer over at The Lilypad for the last few months. The time has come for me to pack up and be on my way so that I can focus on my store at Little dreamer and some other things that I have in the works over the next few months. Soooo... to thank all of the Great customers who have found me and given me good Luv at The Lilypad I figured I may as well go out with a bang and I am putting everything in my store over there on sale for 40% off until it's gone next Thursday!
I'm also thinking that it is as good a time as any to be generous, since God is being so incredibly generous with the pretty white snow that is covering our streets right now! Leave me a comment before end of day Thurs Apr.2 and tell me what was your best little moment in the past week; I will pick three winners to give out $10 GCs to.

In other life news, The kids are pumped to be heading into spring break next week and kicking it off with a grandparent sleepover tomorrow which is always tons of fun for all ( from what I hear anyways). My in-laws are AMAZING and the kids think it is such a treat to get in some extra time with them whenever they get the chance!
My head/neck is a wee bit better, muscles are still angry but getting there. Thanks so much for the well wishes last week, I really wasn't meaning to sound "complainee" about it, just honest. I didn't get in for as many treatments as I was hoping this week thanks to the heaps of snow that was coming down. I am just taking the crazy snow as a blessing and a reason to get some peaceful quiet times happenin' inside the house.

Peaceful Blessings to you.

After discussing the lack of 'surprises' by my hubby to me, he 'surprised' me with cheesecake and daffodils, but in super cheesy ways, but that's just him!

My best little moment this past week was actually today - a brand new super adorable apron came in the mail, and will make cleaning so much more fun!

best little moment was spending this morning at the dutch village. we are finally having a warm day and my little boy was having so much fun chasing the ducks, throwing goldfish at them, and being fascinated by the little things. thankful today that i'm reminded each and everyday of the simplicities of childhood :)

My best moment so far ;) happened today. I got to do story hour at the library and we focused on bubbles. My fav part was watching the joy on the kids' faces as they got to blow OUT a straw to make lots of painty bubbles. Then we placed paper on top and made bubble prints. SO messy and SO much fun. It was joyous!!

My best moment would have to be while walking my youngest to kindergarten, I mentioned that my hands were cold and tucked my one into my sleeve and the other was holding his hand. All of a sudden my hand got really warm, I looked down, and he had both his mitten-ed hands wrapped around mine and was blowing warm air through them...warmed my heart as well as my hand! :)
Sorry to see you leave TLP, looking forward to your new stuff at LDD though. Have a great day!

My best little moment this week, last evening when I came home after work and picking up the girls, and I felt so sick that I just ordered a movie for them and lied down on the sofa. Shortly after, i got so sick and couldn't get out of the bathroom for a good 1-2 hrs. now that i think about it, it's more a best moment in disguise. during all this time my 6yr old started taking care of me and her little 2 yr old sister, bringinf me pillows, a glass of water, making herself and her sister nutella toast, pouring the juice, writing me get better cards , ... you name it, she was there for me, without ever asking her for a thing. even the little one was so precious. what a God-sent blessing.

Oops! Re-post...:)

My best little moment by far was holding my brand new baby girl and witnessing her intentionally smile back me for the first time yesterday morning as we snuggled back into bed for a few more precious hours if sleep! :)

Best little moment for me this week was when my oldest boy came home from school and surprised his brother with a prize he had picked out a school just for him. It was so sweet to see that he was thinking of his brother instead of himself! (The longer version of the story was blogged about a couple days ago. :))

I actually had two moments and I'm still smiling, I've been sick the past week so my scrapping mojo was very low. Still, I decided to participate in a challenge, and not only did I win that challenge, I also got featured as one of the layouts of the day. So my week has already had it's highlights :-)
I love your art journals, they are a great inspiration to me. Can't wait to see another one!

Spring break. Cherry blossoms in full bloom almost everywhere you look. My kids' grandma and cousins took them to the park for the entire day this past Tuesday. The best part of that day was sitting around ALL day scrapping and watching a movie I'd been waiting to watch for weeks!

My best little moment??
Kinda longwinded lol

We had to apply for funding for my daughter Bella's special needs teacher when she starts school, and instead of being extremely high needs.. we are only very high needs!! (single Mum... need all the help I can wrangle lOL)

Sure, it means less funding :)
But hey.. look at the bright side!!
We have gone from extreme.. to very high!!
YAY us :D:D:D

My best little moment was Monday morning when I climbed into my car, begrudgingly headed to work, and found the sweetest post-it note on my dash that simply said "I love you!" from my wonderfully thoughtful hubby!! Ain't life GRAND?!!

Hmm.. Best little moment had to be making banana splits tonight with my kids. They loved piling the toppings on and the best part is they couldn't finish them up, so of course DH and I did! Thanks for the giveaway!

Hearing "this was was the best birthday ever, Mama" from one of my girls- even when I don't think we did all that much, but somehow it was extra-special to them. Another one of my babies turned 6 today. ::sigh:: They grow up much too fast!

We're nearing the end of our spring break, I hope you get 'fixed up' so you can enjoy yours with your family, CD!
